To Play The Part is one of my favorite albums to come out of Connecticut. There are so many good songs on this. I really recommend checking this out if you haven't heard this yet. Members of Hamartia went on to start, or join, With Honor, Bury Your Dead, Blood Has Been Shed and Between The Buried and Me.

Hamartia - Demo

Hamartia was a band from Connecticut that was active from 1999 until the early 2000's. The Demo was released in 2000. This was their only release besides their full length, "To Play The Part", which was released in 2002. Every song they wrote was extremely aggressive, heavy, and melodic.
