Wrench In The Works - Canada EP

Genre: Hardcore/Metal
FFO: All Else Failed, Converge, Trap Them

I don't really know much about this EP other than the fact that it was brought on tour with Wrench before The Lost Art Of Heaping Coal came out. It has 3 songs that later appeared on TLAOHC. The songs are slightly different than the versions on the full length. whatever, check this out, the songs are great.

My brother just told me that i have the two EPs mixed up. This is the EP that came in the box with the limited artwork.

XO Skeletons - Asthmagasm

Genre: Electronic/Punk
FFO: Some Girls, Cold Cave

XO Skeletons consisted of Wes Eisold, Chauncey, and F.Sean Martin and played a few shows between 07 and 09 before they split up. XO Skeletons was Eisold's band between Some Girls breaking up and the formation of Cold Cave, and it sounds like a blend of the two.

On a side note, I've had this and a few other links sitting in my mediafire account for a while and finally got around to posting most of them. I think I have one or two more things that should be going up today from tha vault.

The Risk Taken - End Commence

Genre: Hardcore/Metal
FFO: With Honor, Sum of All Fears

The Risk Taken is a hardcore band from Connecticut that started in the early/mid 2000's. They featured members of With Honor, In Pieces, and a few others. They had some strong 90's hardcore influences, but did their own thing and played progressive hardcore. The band was great, and they've recently played a few reunion shows.

East Coast Empire Presents The Harder They Come

This comp features a lot of great bands that came out in the 90's. It has some songs that are exclusive to this comp, and some re-recorded versions of other songs. The Fury of Five song is a rap version of Want It All featuring E. Town Concrete. I really like the Drowning Room and Sum of All Fear songs on this.

Tracklisting:
1. Hatebreed - Before Dishonor
2. Despair - Fracture
3. Sum Of All Fears - Fracture
4. Disbelief - Righteous Man
5. Follow Through - Something To Say
6. Fury Of Five - Want It All (Rap Remix)
7. Stigmata - Can't Bring Me Down
8. Train Of Thought - Self Inflicted
9. At Any Cost - Helpless Cries
10. Pushbutton Warfare - Crush Your Soul
11. Drowning Room - Pretty Killer
12. Divided By Hate - Concealed Extinction

House Of Blow - Songs

Genre: Electronic/Experimental
FFO: XO Skeletons, Head Automatica

Around 2007/2008 House of Blow and XO Skeletons were both very active and played a couple shows in CT, Philadelphia and New York. House of Blow consists of Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw, Head Automatica) and F. Sean Martin (Hatebreed, Cage). They released these two songs, Afghani Black and Icebait(which was also known as Banger). Afghani Black is my favorite track. On one of Chauncey's mixes there is a clip of another HOB song called "Champion Hour" that they played live. Anyways, these are the only two songs that are available. Who knows if they'll release anymore songs.

Heart Eyes - Demo '09

Genre: Ukulele/Cute/Folk
FFO: Cute Female Vocals

This girl originally posted an acoustic cover of "Farewell" by American Nightmare on the b9board, and without fail everyone replied with the heart eyes emoticon. Everyone wanted to hear more, and she provided us all with this demo. It features two original songs sandwiched between two covers. The covers are "I'm So Tired", by Fugazi, and a re-recorded version of "Farewell" with a ukulele. The covers are great, and her original songs are even better.
